WASTE have been designing, developing and darning new clothes for your perusal.
It's been a while since we've had any new stuff on the shop so we thought it was about time to launch our new range for spring 2003.
At WASTE we always say 'less is more' which is why you will only find three items in the range at the moment - quality not quantity is another one of our mottos.

NME: Radiohead release date revealed |

According to the NME, Radiohead's new album will be released on June 9.
The record, the group's sixth, has been given working titles 2+2=5 and Are You Listening. The group have recently been back in LA with producer Nigel Godrich, putting the final touches to the record.
In the UK, the record will be released on June 9. A spokesperson for the band told NME.COM a single had not yet been decided, although it is rumoured to precede it on May 16.
The release would coincide with their previously announced summer festival dates, which will include a headline slot at Glastonbury on June 28.
Speaking recently, O'Brien revealed that the atmosphere in the band is fucking brilliant compared to the frosty recording sessions for their last two albums Kid A and Amnesiac, and that the new songs contain space and sunshine and energy.
He commented: You know that time when bands begin to swagger, like when the Stones got in a groove from '68 to '73? In the last two years, I think we've done that. To me, this record feels like the culmination of the best bits of The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A and Amnesiac.
Drummer Phil Selway added: I don't think we've ever felt so self assured in the studio. This time no shit hit the fan. And Thom's voice has been incredible. That's the stand out element for me. He's reminded us that he's in a league of his own.

w.a.s.t.e is very pleased to announce that Radiohead will be headlining on Saturday 28th June 2003 at the Glastonbury Festival.

UK Teletext is reporting the following UK release date for the new Radiohead album, which is still untitled (though sources tell us that it may be 2+2=5 or Are You Listening?), to be June 9th.
The first single (which we believe could be "Where I End and You Begin") will be released in the UK on May 16th. |

Moby has squared up to Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke in a fictional fight. Writing on his official website, the chrome-domed dance guru speculates on which star would win various categories in and old fashioned celebrity face-off.
Moby writes: On singing ability. Thom has the voice of an angel and I have the voice of a pig farmer. So he wins. Hair? Thom has hair. I don't. Thom wins again. Fighting ability. I'm guessing that we'd both be pretty inept. Unless Thom has martial arts training I'd say a fight would end in a stalemate. Hygiene? A tie due to our impeccable grooming habits. (Er when was the last time you saw Thom Yorke, Moby?)

Glastonbury Festival will go ahead this year after local councillors agreed to grant organisers a licence after a marathon seven hour session.
Radiohead look set to headline the Saturday night (June 28).

Starsailor kicked off the NME Awards Shows at London Asoria last night, with frontman James Walsh hailing Will Young a genius.
Colin Greenwood and Ed O'Brien from Radiohead were among the sold-out audience, who flocked to see 22-20's, Hope Of The States and Nada Surf.

Fake Plastic Trees on Space Shuttle Columbia |

Radiohead was favorite band for pilot William C. McCool from lost Space Shuttle Columbia. Every morning on the shuttle the crew is awaken by music selected by flight controllers in the Mission Control Center. It's the tradition. The Columbia Blue Team crew were woken up on day 5 by Radiohead's Fake Plastic Trees.
You can download the song here. At the end of the song, you can hear Mission Control greet the astronauts and dedicate the song to pilot William C. McCool who responded that Radiohead is my favorite group. |

Radiohead's headline slot at Glastonbury looks one step closer with the news the band are playing two festivals in Germany just before the event.
The group are currently mixing their new album, which has been given the working titles '2+2=5' and 'Are You Listening?', and a tentative release date of June 16.
The band have been strongly rumoured to be showcasing the record with a high profile headline slot at the festival that they last played in 1997.
This year's Glastonbury is set to run over the weekend of June 27-29.

The NME Carling Awards nominations have been announced. Radiohead have been nominated in one category called Best UK Band with the bands The Libertines, Oasis, The Coral, The Cooper Temple Clause and Coldplay.
The awards will be held this year at Po Na Na in Hammersmith in London on February 13, with special guests performing live.
This week's NME - on sale in London tomorrow (February 4) and the rest of the UK on Wednesday - has extensive preview coverage of the awards nominees.
