Thom Yorke on BBC Radio 1

Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood talk to Radio 1 at the NME Brat Awards in London, where readers have voted “Creep”, first out in 1992, best single, ahead of Suede, New Order and John Lydon. They had to go to America to prove it, one of them says, and they only put it out again because everyone in Britain told them to. On the first album they changed songs on other people's advice, which may have been a mistake, and signing to a major label was “like landing on Mars and, you know, having to learn the language”.
