Radiohead started at Abingdon School in 1985 as On a Friday. When they signed to EMI in 1991 they took a new name from “Radio Head”, a song on Talking Heads’ True Stories. In late 2025, after seven years off the stage, they toured Europe again, and they have 21 nights in Australia and Japan booked for 2027.
