Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood visit Sound Opinions on Chicago Public Radio, and the first job is deciding who plays the piano, allegedly the best in Chicago. “Videotape” and something off The Eraser are suggested. One of them says that if one plays, the other has to play something too, even an instrumental. The other refuses, then offers to play something that can be cut up later, as long as it is not a performance. Greenwood says he is a chicken.

He keeps chickens too, 12 or 13 of them a mile outside town, and gets about four eggs a day. The neighbours are learning to live with them, helped by the eggs, and the roosters start as soon as the sun clears the horizon, sometimes at three in the morning in the dark. Then Yorke sits at the piano and sings “I Want None of This”, Radiohead's song for a War Child charity record.
