Phil Selway on Il Post
Three days at the film studios count, for him, among the privileged and very bizarre things a band like Radiohead gets to do.
September 2010 · Il Post · Phil Selway
Phil Selway remembers playing in the band in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He and Jonny Greenwood were first asked to record songs for the ball scene, with Jarvis Cocker and Steve Mackey of Pulp, and at the end they were asked to be the band on screen as well. Walking onto the Great Hall set among the characters felt like stepping through the television screen into a fantasy land, a gigantic school with absolutely everybody in the scene. Three days at the studios was one of those privileged and very bizarre things a band like Radiohead gets to do. “I loved every moment of that.”
