Thom Yorke on ITV
Thom Yorke doesn't think Atoms for Peace will play Radiohead songs: the set is basically his solo record from a few years back and Amok.
1 May 2013 · ITV · Thom Yorke
Thom Yorke tells Jonathan Ross that Atoms for Peace have not started touring yet, because two of them are busy playing with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The band began with a record he made alone on a computer. Curious how it would sound live, he asked Flea, Joey Waronker and other friends to play it for a laugh, and it turned into a new record. Asked if it felt like cheating on Radiohead, he says “it felt like sleeping around, which is not necessarily a bad thing.” He doesn't think the Atoms for Peace shows will play Radiohead songs: the set is basically his solo record from a few years back and the new one, Amok.
