Stephen McCauley of BBC Radio Ulster asks Ed O'Brien to pick the moment that stood out for him on stage on Radiohead's reunion tours, and he names two songs. Crowds sang “Jigsaw Falling into Place” at the top of their lungs, and he could hear the emotion in their voices. “Let Down” had had its moment on TikTok, and he says the band took care to price the tickets so that younger people who had never seen them could come; watching 17- and 18-year-olds in tears at it was incredible. A song, he says, can build a life and an emotional pull of its own over 20 or 30 years, until you come to play it and wonder what is going on.
