Jonny Greenwood
Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, on a 2006 Sound Opinions session for Chicago Public Radio, negotiate over the studio's piano, said to be the finest in Chicago. Neither wants to go first. Yorke suggests “Videotape”, then says he will only play if Greenwood does, then refuses outright, then offers to play something the station can cut up afterwards as long as it is not a performance.
The rest is about chickens. Greenwood keeps 12 or 13 of them a mile outside the city and gets about four eggs a day. The neighbours are learning to live with it, he reports, and are kept sweet with fresh eggs. The roosters start up as soon as the sun clears the horizon, he concedes, and sometimes at three in the morning while it is still dark, which he seems to regard as a feature.
