Thom Yorke calls himself a proud Luddite in reply to Moby

Thom Yorke has answered Moby on Twitter, after Moby used an interview to take a swipe at his stand against Spotify. Yorke took Amok off Spotify earlier this year and last month called the service “the last desperate fart of a dying corpse”.

Moby, defending it, said musicians who adapt are doing fine. I love Thom Yorke, but when I heard him complaining about Spotify, I'm like, 'You're just like an old guy yelling at fast trains'¹

Yorke's reply came on 26 November. I am a 45 yr old Luddite and proud of it.. yawn.¹

Moby clarified on Twitter the same day. He called Yorke and David Byrne, another critic of Spotify, creative geniuses, and said he saw no point fighting a future that had already arrived.
