Radiohead's “Harry Patch (In Memory Of)” was first heard on Radio 4's Today programme.

It went out at five to nine on 5 August 2009, the day before the funeral of Harry Patch, the last British soldier of the trenches, who had died at 111. Thom Yorke sings over Jonny Greenwood's strings, and every penny of the £1 download went to the Royal British Legion.
