Before Milton Keynes Bowl, Stipe came in to say hello and told them he was a very big fan. Yorke, writing his tour diary for Q, admitted he was fighting for breath. In Oslo he played the band a new one in a dressing room that was really a toilet: “No Surprises, Please”.
