on a friday
A demo from around 1991 by On a Friday, as Radiohead were called until 1992, kept by the fans who held on to the tapes, and 1:24 long on the copy this site posted in 2003. Ronan Munro interviewed the band for Curfew, the Oxford music paper, in December 1991, the first interview they gave, and Thom Yorke told him Oxford was “very important to my writing”. He named this and “Jerusalem” as songs about the city.
