Tacky Love Song

Not a Radiohead song at all: a Credit to the Nation track built on a sample of “High and Dry”.

the entry

somebody else's record

The note preserved from the 2003 site is clear about what this is: “Tacky Love Song is a track by hip-hop act Credit to the Nation, which have used a sample of the main guitar riff of Radiohead's ‘High & Dry’.”

Credit to the Nation were Matty Hanson's group from Wednesbury, best known for “Call It What You Want”, which sampled Nirvana. Sampling Radiohead was the same move made twice.

the record

listed, and not a radiohead recording

It appears in this catalogue because the 2003 site listed it, and it is kept here with the correction attached rather than silently deleted. Radiohead did not write it, record it or perform it.
