Colin Greenwood on deus podcast
Of the acts who treated Radiohead well on tour, he names R.E.M. and Alanis Morissette, and makes clear he does not mean Morrissey.

Colin Greenwood sits down for a podcast made by dEUS in Budapest, on a day both bands are playing, and admits he has just sorted his CDs at home and kept theirs. The ones that went to Oxfam, taken there by his wife, were mostly Britpop and dodgy electronic records he should never have bought. He can never remember album titles, but some of Radiohead went to see dEUS several times in Britain, and Pocket Revolution is what he is enjoying right now. This is only his second time in a former Eastern Bloc country, and all he knows of Hungary, he says, is the Museum of Ethnography and the start of the First World War.
Radiohead's plan is the summer festivals, then recording the album up to Christmas. He doesn't know whether Thom Yorke will play his solo songs live, though it would be great to fit them into the band's set. He is reading Richard Dawkins's The Selfish Gene and William Faulkner's Absalom, Absalom! Of the acts who treated Radiohead well on tour he names R.E.M. and Alanis Morissette, not Morrissey, he makes clear, and he would like to tour with Arcade Fire, who came to both Radiohead shows in Montreal and made him laugh a lot. Of the new songs he picks “Arpeggi”, for being “so desolate and sad but so uplifting and beautiful at the same time”.
