Colin Greenwood on CRF
Nerves before a show are a good thing, Colin Greenwood tells the Children's Radio Foundation, because they show that you care.
23 January 2013 · CRF · Colin Greenwood
Three days into a visit to South Africa, Colin Greenwood takes questions for the Children's Radio Foundation. The band got together at school in 1984 or 1985, he says, and played in a village hall where they moved the playgroup furniture aside to set up the drums. One of his favourite things about the band is the tour bus in America, because “it's got beds on it”. He still gets nervous before a show, and thinks that is good, because nerves show that you care. He says “I am the best table football player in my band”, and his favourite colour is navy blue, as his T-shirt, jeans and socks give away.
