Colin Greenwood on BBC Radio 6
Colin Greenwood stayed up watching Radiohead's Glastonbury sets of 1997, 2003 and 2017 back to back, and found it quite intense.

Colin Greenwood talks to BBC Radio 6 Music on the day the Radiohead Public Library opens, the band's online archive of videos, artwork, setlists and sessions, with a library card for anyone who wants one. It took about a year of chasing the orphans and strays scattered across the digital wasteland. He calls it an audio-visual lending library with no late fees, and promises no data is kept on anyone who signs up.
Much of it was on YouTube already, so when the band offered better copies from the original sources, people were happy to help. Some of it is fans' own work, the videos they were invited to make for songs, which he likens to the Grateful Dead letting fans tape and share. The recent things he can't look at yet. Time has burnt enough away from the older ones that he can think they're cool.
He is the first band member to curate a selection, and picks the 1995 MTV session in Camden where they covered Carly Simon's “Nobody Does It Better”, which the station is cleared to play just once. Bonnaroo in 2006 is another, In Rainbows songs with extra choruses and middle eights, a sketchbook. The one thing he would cut is his own ponytail at the Astoria around 1995. Nobody has airbrushed it out.
