British companies supply something like 80 per cent of the European concert business, Colin Greenwood tells ITV News: the trucking, the staging and everything behind it, built up over 40 or 50 years. He is worried that new regulation and paperwork after Brexit will take away the livelihoods of thousands of people who made that a success story.

He ties it to his own band. Radiohead's career, he says, was forged by touring Europe, playing 200-capacity clubs in Paris and Strasbourg when getting there was easy, and that is where they learned their trade. The companies that later carried them round the world are part of the same picture.

His last point is that the government does not understand how cultural capital in a country is developed and nurtured.
