written up for the archive September 2026
Radiohead supported Belly at the Town and Country Club in Kentish Town, London, on Sunday 14 March, and Thom Yorke, his bleached blond hair down to his shoulders, came back on to sing with Belly in their encore.
Belly are Tanya Donelly's band, formed after she left Throwing Muses and the Breeders. Their set drew a lively moshpit.
Sidi Bou Said opened, so Radiohead, with Pablo Honey out since 22 February, were the middle band of three. Their set included “Creep” and “Ripcord” , and an audience tape of that “Creep” survives .
