Radiohead's Hail to the Thief gets listening nights in five countries

first posted on Treefingers by Jaro, Miro · rewritten for the archive

Nights playing Hail to the Thief ahead of and around its release, on 9 June in the UK and 10 June in North America, have been arranged in the United States, Germany, Finland, Italy and the UK. The list starts in America on 16 May at Club Café in Pittsburgh, more than three weeks before the album reaches the shops, and the Chicago night is at a Northwestern University fraternity house, Zeta Beta Tau.

The one UK night is at the Krazyhouse on Wood Street in Liverpool, which plays the whole album on Thursday 5 June.

In Germany 11 clubs play the album on Friday 6 June alone, and EMI Finland has parties in six cities. In Milan the Italian fan club Just...Radiohead has arranged a preview at EMI Music Italy's offices.
