Thom Yorke has told Prince to let fans see his cover of “Creep” at Coachella, after Prince's label had every clip of it taken off YouTube. Yorke heard about the cover by text message and thought it hilarious, but the takedown was news to him when it came up in an interview the Associated Press reported on Friday. Really? He's blocked it? Surely we should block it. Hang on a moment.3 Ed O'Brien said the block had kept even him from seeing it, and Yorke laughed.

Prince headlined the festival at Indio, California, on 26 April and played the song as a surprise, some seven minutes of it with falsetto screams and a long guitar solo, according to Creative Loafing. It was widely praised, and fan videos were on YouTube by the Monday after. He had barred photographers from their usual spot at the front for the first three songs and had his own crew film the set. In May the fan clips came down, each replaced by a message that NPG Records had asked for its removal as a copyright violation. Fans had shot them, and the song is Radiohead's.

YouTube declined to comment and Prince did not respond; his representatives were still not commenting today. Last September he said he would sue YouTube and eBay over unauthorised Prince material. Well, tell him to unblock it. It's our … song.3
