Atoms for Peace remix Four Tet's “Pyramid”

Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich have remixed Four Tet's “Pyramid” under the Atoms for Peace name. Four Tet has called it so f*cking good¹ on Twitter.

The remix, nearly eight minutes long, is streaming on SoundCloud. It moves from cut-up vocals over slow bass to a crowded, skittering finish. Matt Medved, writing it up for Dancing Astronaut, likens its shuffling percussion to “Idioteque”, and credits Godrich with the harmonies that hold it together and Yorke with the second half.
