Philip Selway flags the last Childish Things benefit in Oxford

Philip Selway has used Dead Air Space, the band's blog, to point fans to Childish Things, a benefit in his home town of Oxford that he is involved with. It mixes music and comedy and raises money for Helen and Douglas House, a hospice in Oxford for children and young adults.

This year's shows, at the New Theatre on Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 March, are its tenth anniversary and its last.

Over the past decade, I've had many brilliant nights at Childish Things, both as a performer and part of the audience.
