Jonny Greenwood and Thom Yorke say the new album is not finished

Radiohead's ninth album is not finished, Jonny Greenwood said on Twitter on 15 October, after a translation of his interview with the Russian radio station Silver Rain had him saying it was. That version was picked up by Consequence Of Sound and then by several other outlets. It had the recording done and the band reassessing it, with next year's tour to be planned once they had it right.

Greenwood answered Consequence Of Sound directly. nice mistranslation going on….what I actually said: lots has been recorded, and we're about to go through it all….² The point, he went on, is to see if any of it is good; they hope to tour next year, but nothing is confirmed. He apologised for an over-enthusiastic translator.

Thom Yorke joined in, in a tweet to Consequence Of Sound that tagged his bandmate. no IT ain't finished take responsibility for your writing and check your facts occasionally .. alright Jonny?²
