Jonny Greenwood plays Bari and Ravenna with Junun

Jonny Greenwood joins Shye Ben Tzur and the Rajasthan Express at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari tonight, 1 June, and at the Ravenna Festival tomorrow, Nonesuch has confirmed. The two nights open Junun's European tour. Nonesuch's list also has Greenwood playing with them at Best Kept Secret in Hilvarenbeek on 18 June, the day Radiohead play the festival themselves.

Junun is the record Greenwood made with Ben Tzur, an Israeli composer, and the Rajasthan Express in a makeshift studio inside Mehrangarh Fort, the fifteenth-century fortress at Jodhpur in India. The Bari concert is also a preview night for Locus, the Puglia festival.

The tour runs into July, and in five of its cities the group are Radiohead's support act, starting with the two nights in Oslo on 6 and 7 June.
