Thom Yorke has four Grammy nominations for ANIMA and “Suspirium”

Thom Yorke has four nominations for the 62nd Grammy Awards, announced on 20 November; the awards will be given out on 26 January. Three are for ANIMA, the album XL released on 27 June, and one for “Suspirium”.

ANIMA is up for Best Alternative Music Album. Its packaging is in Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package, credited to the art directors, Stanley Donwood and Tchocky. Paul Thomas Anderson's short film of the album, shown on Netflix, is nominated for Best Music Film.

“Suspirium” was the first song heard from Yorke's Suspiria score, which XL put out last October. It is nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media, with Yorke as its songwriter.
