Thom Yorke puts out four versions of “Not the News”
Thom Yorke's Not the News Rmx, four versions of “Not the News” from ANIMA, is out today on XL, announced only yesterday. A white label 12-inch with the same running order follows in record shops, limited to 3,000 copies worldwide.
“Not the News” is one of the three songs in Paul Thomas Anderson's short film ANIMA, on Netflix since the album came out digitally on 27 June, with “Traffic” and “Dawn Chorus”.
The first of the four is an “Extendo Mix” by Yorke himself with Nigel Godrich, who produced the album.
