Thom Yorke's ANIMA re-enters Billboard's dance chart at number one

Thom Yorke's ANIMA has come back into Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart at number one, on the chart dated 3 August, the first time Yorke has topped it. His two earlier entries there, The Eraser Rmxs in 2009 and Tomorrow's Modern Boxes in 2015, both got no higher than number 13.

The album had dropped off the chart after the download came out in June. The CD and vinyl, out on 19 July, brought it straight back in with its best week yet by Nielsen Music's count, nearly all of it copies bought outright.

On the sales-only Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart ANIMA was already number one on 13 July, and it is there again. “Traffic”, the opening track, has given Yorke his first entry on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, at number 47.
