A week after the last night he told Niall Doherty of Louder that he spent the tour standing between the band's drummers, Jim Sclavunos and Larry Mullins, who are both fabulous and very, very loud but great
1. Their advice was mostly about holding the tempo and not rushing some of the older Bad Seeds songs. Radiohead have done the same thing at times, with Portishead's Clive Deamer drumming beside Philip Selway.
Sometimes Nick would run over to where Larry's playing the drums and go, 'Arghhh!'

Greenwood would make room so Cave could jump up onto the riser, and he talks of the singer's spiritual fervour with a crowd.
Asked about Radiohead, he says he would love to play some shows but has to wait until everybody is free, the answer he gave The New Cue earlier this month.
The size of the rooms never worried him, because Radiohead had got him used to them, and the touring party was kind and funny. I'm lucky where I am in my life with music where I can feel when I'm on stage that it's like a sort of home from home.
