look drill

The first record with Radiohead on the sleeve labelled its own logo with an arrow.

The Drill EP sleeve: a hand drill drawn as a labelled diagram over yellow and green splashes, with an arrow pointing to the Radiohead logo

Drill was the first record with Radiohead on the sleeve, and Icon, who went on to design Pablo Honey, drew it as a diagram: handle, turn to operate, wheel, chuck, bit, and an arrow marked “logo”. Parlophone released 3,000 each on CD, 12-inch and cassette on 5 May 1992, and it reached number 101 in the UK chart.
