Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Freddie Mercury's rockabilly pastiche, written in ten minutes, used once by Radiohead to end a show in London.
1979
ten minutes in a bath
Mercury wrote it in 1979 as a tribute to Elvis Presley and Cliff Richard, and said in Melody Maker that it took him five to ten minutes, on guitar. It reached number two in Britain and then number one in America for four weeks, Queen's first, and it is the reason Mercury played rhythm guitar on stage between 1979 and 1986.
4 oct 1994
london
Radiohead played it once, in London on 4 October 1994, and closed the show with it.
