Give It Up
Madchester, attempted in April 1991.

the demo tape
It comes from the April 1991 demo tape of On a Friday, as Radiohead were then called, and it is baggy, with the loose Manchester rhythm of the time. The same cassette carried “What Is That You Say?” and an early “Stop Whispering”. This site's 2003 version says that tape helped persuade Chris Hufford and Bryce Edge, who ran Courtyard Studio and became the band's managers, to produce the band's next demo, the one sold at the Oxford record shop Manic Hedgehog.
