Song · Pablo Honey era (1992–93)
Yes I Am
It rode along on the second release of “Creep”, the one that finally worked in Britain.
1993–94
in the set
It was first played in Oxford on 20 February 1993 and played on 23 nights that year. At Lupo's in Providence on 6 October, on the American tour with Belly, Thom Yorke dedicated it to people who had treated the band badly, Paul Lester reported in Melody Maker. The last night it was played was Kawasaki on 9 June 1994.
6 sep 1993
the reissue
When Parlophone reissued “Creep” in the UK on 6 September 1993, a year after it had stalled at number 78, “Yes I Am” was the second track on the seven-inch, the CD and the cassette, and it went onto the Japanese and European CDs too. America had made a hit of “Creep” by then, and this time it reached number seven at home.
