Björk and Thom Yorke sing a duet for Dancer in the Dark

Thom Yorke and Björk have recorded a duet for the soundtrack of Dancer in the Dark, Lars von Trier's new film, Melody Maker reports today. The track has no title yet, and so far it is the only song confirmed to feature them both.

The film, which premieres at the Cannes Film Festival, is Björk's first leading role, as Selma, a Czech immigrant and single mother working in an American factory. She wrote and performs about 90 per cent of the music.

The paper also suggests that Yorke's voice will be laid over the parts sung on screen by Björk's co-star Peter Stormare, of Fargo. A spokesperson for the film's production company has denied it.
