Christopher O'Riley records an album of Radiohead for solo piano
first posted on Treefingers by Jaro · rewritten for the archive
The pianist Christopher O'Riley is playing and recording Radiohead's music. His album of transcriptions, True Love Waits, is being made at Sony Classical in New York and should be out in May or June.
O'Riley hopes the record will reach classical listeners who have never heard Radiohead, and Radiohead fans who would not usually go to a piano recital and might hear Scriabin for the first time.
Six or seven of these Radiohead pieces are the hardest pieces I play.
