Radiohead have added a second night at The Point in Dublin, Thursday 4 December, to the end of their winter tour of the UK and Ireland. When Ticketmaster Ireland announced the first, 3 December, on 11 May, it billed it as the band's first night at The Point, and nine days later they have two.
The tour takes Radiohead from the rooms of about 2,500 on the May club tour up to the arenas. A source close to the band told NME the small shows had been picked as the warm-up. The arena run opens in Manchester on 22 November, reaches Earls Court in London on the 26th and leaves Britain after Aberdeen on 1 December.
W.A.S.T.E., the band's mail-order and fan club, confirmed all eight by email on 14 May and had the presale to itself from just after midnight UK time on Friday 16 May. General sale followed on Saturday 17 May at £28.50 a ticket, or about £33 with booking fees.
Dublin saw the band only last weekend, when they opened the May tour with two nights at the Olympia Theatre. Before that, their last big show in the city was at the RDS in June 1997.
