SonicVision, a show of computer animation set to music under the dome of the Hayden Planetarium at New York's American Museum of Natural History, opened on Monday night, and Radiohead's “Everything in Its Right Place” is the first of its 19 songs. The show was made with MTV2, and Moby chose and mixed the soundtrack.
The museum means it as its answer to the laser rock shows of the 1970s, with digital animation where the lasers were. The dome seems to spin through a starry sky, and at one point the audience rides a virtual roller coaster through a coloured tunnel. The show runs about 38 minutes and opens to the public on Friday 3 October.
Moby told the New York Post that SonicVision has no story, but it has a flow
