Radiohead's “There There” video wins Best Art Direction at the VMAs

The video for “There There” won Best Art Direction in a Video at the MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday night at Radio City Music Hall in New York, with Chris Rock hosting. The award goes to Chris Hopewell, who made the stop-motion video, as its art director.

The video's three other nominations were lost to the White Stripes' “Seven Nation Army” in Editing, Queens of the Stone Age's “Go with the Flow” in Special Effects and Johnny Cash's “Hurt” in Cinematography. In Art Direction it beat “Hurt”, which had six nominations to its four.
