7 Television Commercials, the seven Radiohead promo videos first put out on VHS in 1998, is out on DVD for the first time. EMI/Parlophone released it in the UK on Monday, listed at a recommended £9.99, and it reaches North America today.
Jonathan Glazer directed two of the seven, “Street Spirit (Fade Out)” and “Karma Police”. The “High and Dry” on the disc is the American video Capitol commissioned, Paul Cunningham's film set in a roadside diner, rather than David Mould's, which has the band playing at Vasquez Rocks outside Los Angeles.
