Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood promise to be the UK's Eurovision entry

Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood promised on BBC One last night that they will be the UK's entry at next year's Eurovision Song Contest. Radiohead were guests on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and played “There There” and “Fake Plastic Trees”. We are 99.9 per cent sure Yorke and Greenwood were not entirely serious.
This morning Yorke was back with Ross on his Radio 2 show, which the BBC has put on its website to hear again, and played “Sail to the Moon”. Ross introduced him as one of modern rock's most famous miserabilists, lately set on cheering himself up somewhat. Yorke talked about his son Noah, who inspired the song. It was written actually before he turned up.
