Thom Yorke worries for Coldplay and the Strokes

Thom Yorke tells MTV.com's Jon Wiederhorn, in an interview done in London with MTV Europe, that he worries about Coldplay and the Strokes, because the sort of success they've had really screws with your head. It's like, what do you do next?¹

Asked what stardom has given him, Yorke says he is glad not to have been hit by a car yet and still to be doing this. It is easy to crack up, he says, once people start talking to him as if he came from another planet and he takes that as normal.

He jokes about the band's time in Hollywood making Hail to the Thief. With a smirk, he remembers glamorous parties and matching Minis with Union Jacks, and says he chose a Range Rover for himself as the most polluting car he could find, 4.6 litres of it.
