Bodysong comes out on DVD with a Jonny Greenwood interview

first posted on Treefingers by Miro · rewritten for the archive

Simon Pummell's film Bodysong, scored by Jonny Greenwood, comes out on DVD on 16 February. Among its extras is an interview in which Greenwood talks about composing the score.

W.A.S.T.E., the band's mail-order shop, are taking pre-orders. Mungo at the shop says they are selling it at £17.50, a couple of pounds below the usual price. The disc is PAL only, but computer DVD drives will play it whatever the region.

The other extras are an interview with Pummell, the complete Bodysong website and two of his short films: the one-minute How Long Is a Minute? and Blinded by Light, about eight minutes long, which treat the body in the same experimental way as the feature.

Paul Thomas Anderson calls the film moving and scary. I remember seeing Bodysong and feeling like I was in a trance1
