Four Tet tells how Radiohead played his remix loud in their dressing room

Kieran Hebden, who records as Four Tet, talks about “Skttrbrain”, his remix of Radiohead's “Scatterbrain”, in an interview for Australia's Onion magazine with Scott, a longtime At Ease board regular.

As a rule the artist sends Hebden the masters, he does what he likes with them, and he sends them back hoping they approve.

Radiohead told me to pick anything I liked off the Hail to the Thief album.

He made the remix between the two Radiohead tours he supported. At the start of the second, in Ireland, he handed it to the band, who promised not to play it in front of him in case it proved too intense. When he arrived at their dressing room before the next night's show, they had it on loud, and told him not to worry because they loved it.
