Radiohead give an unreleased live “Myxomatosis” to MustVote.com
first posted on Treefingers by Miro · rewritten for the archive
Radiohead's track for MustVote.com, a US non-profit that wants 100,000 voters aged 18 to 25 registered through its website before the 2 November election, is a live “Myxomatosis” that has not been released anywhere else. For every person a user registers, the site gives that user one free download, redeemed through Napster with a promo code.
Radiohead's track is first on MustVote's list of donated songs. Bright Eyes are on it too, and so are Death Cab for Cutie and Pearl Jam.
MustVote dates the “Myxomatosis” recording 23 November 2003 at Earls Court, but Radiohead's Earls Court nights were the 26th and the 27th; on the 23rd they were at the Telewest Arena in Newcastle. The song was in the set on all three nights, so either the date or the venue on the label is wrong.
