“Paranoid Android” is number one on Xfm's X List for 2004, voted by the station's listeners, and puts Radiohead back at the top. It was fourth a year ago.
Xfm calls it the closest race yet, with the Manic Street Preachers' “Motorcycle Emptiness” second and Nirvana's “Heart Shaped Box”, last year's runner-up, third. Radiohead had six songs on the shortlist, more than anyone, and seven make the final list of 104.
