The BBC Radio 4 comedy Radio 9, broadcast at 11.30pm on 3 June, ran a fake news item in which Radiohead stop being miserable and Thom Yorke sings a duet with Zippy from the children's programme Rainbow. The item starts 23 minutes 44 seconds into the programme, which the BBC website is keeping for a week.
The duet is called “I Zip My Mouth Up”. It cuts pieces of several Radiohead tracks together with Zippy's voice into a deliberately gloomy pastiche.
