Warren Haynes opens his Bonnaroo set with “Lucky”

The guitarist Warren Haynes releases Live at Bonnaroo, his solo acoustic set from last year's festival, on Tuesday 8 June. He opened it with Radiohead's “Lucky”.
Haynes tells Anthony DeCurtis of The New York Times that he played around noon, after a late night on stage with the Allman Brothers, and had done only about a dozen solo shows before. He calls himself no great acoustic player, but says playing that way lets him sing and interpret songs differently.
He was writing out the setlist that morning when his wife and manager, Stefani Scamardo, saw the Radiohead song at the top and asked whether he really meant to open with it. He said he did.
