Ric Jerrom reads Stanley Donwood's Slowly Downward in Bath

Stanley Donwood has another book out, Slowly Downward (Some miserable stories by Stanley Donwood), and the actor Ric Jerrom read from it at the Bath Literature Festival on Friday 4 March. The reading, at Secession Books, was recorded by “sound engineers” in an underground room near one of the city's plague pits.

Entry was by one of only 33 tickets, at £3.33 each. A recording of the silence was also to be made, the tapes to be checked afterwards for signs of the paranormal.
