A Scanner Darkly to carry Radiohead music and a Thom Yorke solo track

Richard Linklater's A Scanner Darkly will have music by Radiohead in it, including a new track from a Thom Yorke solo record, a spokesperson for Warner Independent Pictures has told Entertainment Weekly. Yorke has kept its details to himself.

The film, which opens in American cinemas on 7 July, is Linklater's version of the Philip K. Dick novel, with Keanu Reeves, Woody Harrelson, Robert Downey Jr and Winona Ryder, drawn over in the rotoscoped animation he used for Waking Life. Radiohead are not scoring all of it, the spokesperson says, but their part is bigger than had been thought.
