Radiohead deny Amazon's 6 August date for the new album

A spokesperson for Radiohead has told NME that the band's new album is not coming out on 6 August, the date an Amazon.co.uk listing gave it.

The listing called the record “New Album – TBC” and put it out on EMI Records. It was still live when SPIN picked up the story.

The band fulfilled their contract with EMI with Hail to the Thief in 2003, and no new deal or label has been announced.
