Radiohead go back to work on the new album with “15 Step”

Radiohead went back into the studio on 18 January after a month off, Thom Yorke wrote on Dead Air Space, the band's blog.

Back at work, so we have started up again had a good day today working on a version of '15 Step' and rebuilding our studio in the wind.

“15 Step” was already played at about 30 shows on last year's tour. The wind was literal, with gales of hurricane force across England that day. The same posting asks fans to sign a petition calling on the Prime Minister to put nuclear non-proliferation ahead of building up arms.

The band hope to release the follow-up to 2003's Hail to the Thief later this year. NME's list of songs that might be on it runs to “Nude”, “Arpeggi”, “Down Is The New Up”, “Bangers 'n' Mash”, “Open Pick” and “Bodysnatchers”.
